· Write what you would say in each of the following situations
1- You request politely from your sister to make you a sandwich.
* Can you make me a sandwich, please?
2- You suggest going to the cinema with a friend on Friday.
* Let's go to the cinema on Friday.
3- Your friend has lost his school books and he asks you for advice.
* You should have been more careful.
4- Tell your brother about your opinion on people who throw rubbish in the streets.
* I think people who throw rubbish in the street should pay a fine.
5- You meet someone for the first time.
* How do you do?
6- One of your friends received a prize in drawing.
* Congratulations! / Well done!
7- You apologise to your teacher for coming to school late.
* I'm really sorry for being late.
8- A friend requests you to give him some money, but you refuse politely.
* I'm sorry but I don't have enough money with me.
9- Your cousin wants to borrow your camera and you agree.
* Here you are. / Go ahead.
10- It's cold and your sister says, "Do you mind if I close the window?"
* No, I don't mind at all.
11- Your brother apologises for losing your CD. Accept the apology.
* Never mind. / Don't worry.
12- Your friend wants to know your opinion about the educational programs.
* I thin educational programs are very useful.
13- A friend of yours greets you by saying, "How are things ?"
* Fine. Thanks, and you?
14- You meet a tourist who visits Egypt for the first time.
* Welcome to our country.
15- Your friend wants to borrow your cassette player but you need it.
* Sorry, I need it myself.
16- You meet a friend with his cousin. Your friend introduces his cousin to you.
* How do you do? / I'm pleased to meet you.
17- You meet your uncle in the evening.
* Good evening.
18- You ask your friend if you can open the window as it is too hot.
* Is it ok if I open the window?
19- You want to use your friend's mobile phone.
* Can I use your mobile?
20- What would you do if you met the President of Egypt?
* If I met the President of Egypt, I would be very happy.
21- You meet your English teacher in the morning.
* Good morning teacher.
22- You leave your friends at night to go home.
* Good bye. See you later / Good night.
23- You introduce your teacher to your father.
* This is my teacher Mr / Mohammed Eid.
24- Your friend has been ill. You are visiting him. Ask about his health.
* How are you feeling today?
25- Your friend asks if you mind if he uses your pen.
* No, not at all.
26- Your friend suggests going for a walk and you like the idea.
* Ok. / Good idea.
27- It is expected to rain tomorrow. Say what you will do in this case.
* If it rains tomorrow, I won't go out. / I will stay at home.
28- Mona suggests borrowing books from the library but you refuse.
* I don't really feel like doing that.
29- Your brother has just passed his driving test.
* Congratulations! / Well done.
30- You have lost your brother's pen.
* I must apologise for losing your pen.
31- Your sister has broken your camera. You are not angry.
* I'm so sorry and I'll buy you another one.
32- You apologise to your sister for breaking her watch.
* I'm very sorry for breaking your watch.
33- Your younger brother apologises for breaking your cassette player.
* Don't worry. / Never mind.
34- You apologise for not being able to go to your friend's birthday.
* I'm really sorry for not being able to go to your friend's birthday.
35- Your friend has spilt water on your new book. You refuse his apology.
* Well, I hope you will clean it.
36- Your cousin has just had a baby.
* Congratulations! / Great news.
37- Your friend Youssef has had an accident and broke his leg.
* I'm sorry to hear this bad news.
38- You want to tell your opinion about children who hit animals.
* I think children who hit animals are impolite.
39- A friend of yours is very ill. Advise him.

مه انا مكنتش عارفة انكوا ناويين تدخلوا ليلة الامتحان فقط ان شاء الله الترم الجاى يكون التواصل بيننا
